The EVD50 is a full digital amplifier which is designed for low voltage piezoelectric actuators. The amplifier will be manufactured in the 19" rack mount technology. The size is 10TE. Permanent output current is 50mA.
Also actuators with high electrical capacitance can be driven very fast and with a short rise time.
The closed loop version of the EVD50 with ASI-FUNCTION (
The DSP (digital signal processor) works with 64MHz. The sampling rate is 20 µsec only. The effective resolution is 20bit.
This and the major advantage of the free interchangability of all calibrated digital actuators make the EVD50 amplifier suitable for use in high accuracy positioning application in the field of semiconductor, biological, fiber alignment, metrology.. and so on.
