Nanotechnology is one of the most important key technologies of the future. To support the education of qualified young specialists especially in this area, piezosystem jena offers a complete set composed of one piezo actuator and one amplifier, which was especially designed for training and testing purposes.

Piezoelectrical actuators are employed in any application concerned with highest accuracy, fast adjustment and scanning operations, and also special environmental conditions. Main fields of applications are semiconductor industry, optical industry, handling systems and scanning applications.

To ease the access to the highly innovative and very complex systems for academies and universities piezosystem jena has developed a special kit, which is optimized for their needs and cost-efficient at the same time.

The nano kit includes a positioner which, for example in the context of a static application, can move a sample within a motion range of 100 µm and position it with nm-accuracy. The control of the system is carried out by an easy to use electronic system which also features an integrated function generator.

This system enables mainly educational and research institutions to open the door to the nano world for the specialists to-be.
